Coming from the world of theater, I am more and more drawn to this idea of using theatrics to make your event, message, or video really pop. Growing up in the theater, I saw how to craft a story, how to use all resources that are at your disposal. The theater has stood the test of time because it creates a space that welcomes all participants. Your event should do the same thing. When those lights go down, you should be creating the same awe that comes with seeing a musical or a play. It doesn't matter what you're selling, you need to create that same feeling. The theater taught me how to play, how to excite, how to use sound and image and action all in one. I treat every event, whether it's for a healthcare system or a edtech company, like it's a theater piece. The theater opens people's minds and expands their imagination. Your business should be doing the same thing.
