The new Spider-Man movie came out a week ago, and of course, I was there opening day. After the movie, I started to think about what it means to be a hero. Who are our heroes? Who do we look up to? What does it mean to be a hero?
Then, I started thinking about how companies can position themselves as heroes. My job, as a creative, is to showcase all the good that they do and all the benefits they bring to customers. I always like to think of them as heroes. By advocating for a cause, offering services that help others, providing advice and guidance for those who are lost - every business has the potential to be a hero. Heroes save lives, rebuild cities, grow towns, and fix problems. That's what business does.
You should always be thinking of your company as heroic. What you do matters, what you do helps others. Seeing Spider-Man on the big screen, saving people, that's all well and good. But what I love most is seeing good companies be the heroes to their customers.
